We offer testing for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HIV. To test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea we collect a urine sample. For Syphilis and HIV we collect a blood sample. When scheduling your appointment, you can choose which STIs you would like to be tested for.

If you test positive for Chlamydia or Gonorrhea, we are able to provide treatment. If you test positive for HIV or Syphilis, you will then be referred out for treatment.

Amnion offers free pregnancy testing. A woman can become pregnant any time she has sexual intercourse or is in a situation where sperm could have entered her vagina. If you have been in a situation like this, a pregnancy test could give you more information about whether or not you are pregnant.

Our tests are laboratory rated. They can detect the HCG pregnancy hormone as early as 7 days after conception or 21 to 24 days after the first day of your last period. The test is over 99% accurate.

Seven to ten days after conception, our test can pick up a hormone that your body produces when you are pregnant. If the test is done too early in the pregnancy, however, it may not be able to measure the hormone yet and result in a “false negative” test.

The Morning After Pill works in 3 ways – inhibits ovulation, prevents sperm from reaching the egg, and works to prevent implantation. The last way it can work would cause an abortion, because it would prevent the fertilized egg from continuing to live.

We offer post-abortion counseling for individuals and a post-abortion support program for groups, as well as care support and information for women after abortion.
